Thank you for your interest in Redmond's second annual Tree Giveaway. Aligned with the City’s commitment to enhancing our urban forest, improving environmental health, and creating a more sustainable and resilient community, we are creating a new tree giveaway initiative. By participating, you’re helping us achieve our goal of 40% tree canopy coverage by 2050, as outlined in the Tree Canopy Strategic Plan, Redmond 2050, and Sustainability Action Plan (PDF 32MB).

Redmond residents may reserve their free trees now, and pick them up Saturday, October 10th at the Redmond Municipal Campus between 9 AM and 12 PM.

The information you provide on this form is gathered solely for the purposes of this tree giveaway. The City of Redmond and its affiliates will not share, except as required by law, or sell any of your personal information or any data associated with you.

To be eligible for this Tree Giveaway:

• You must live within Redmond City limits. You will be asked for proof of residency in the form of an ID or utility bill when you pick up your tree(s).
• Trees shall be planted on the property listed on the application.
• The tree(s) may not be used to satisfy a building or landscaping permit.
• If you do not own the property where the tree(s) will be planted, you must have written confirmation from the property owner to plant the tree(s). Please print this Authorization Form (other languages) and bring the signed copy with you when you pick up your tree(s).
