Tree Pick-up Information

Date: Saturday, Nov 7, 2026

Time: Your pickup time is shown on your ticket e-mail, which was sent to you on Sunday Nov 1.

Location: Pickering Barn

• Enter the parking lot from 10th Ave NW, across the street from Costco and look for staff in yellow vests to greet you.

Bring With You…

• A vehicle. The trees will be in 2-3 gallon containers and will be between 3-6 feet tall. Most passenger cars are large enough to hold up to 2 trees. If your trees are particularly tall, the end of the tree can stick out through an open rear window or trunk window. A bicycle with a sturdy trailer can work too.
• A tarp or other covering to protect your car interior from accidental dirt and moisture.
• Your phone with your ticket e-mail ready. If you can't bring a phone, bring a printout of the first page of the ticket to the giveaway.
• If you would like arborist chips for mulch, bring a container or bag for them. There will be a limited supply of bags if do not have your own container.

Pickup Procedure

• Plan to arrive at your appointment time shown on your ticket e-mail.
• Drive to the Pickering Barn parking lot at 1730 10th Ave NW, Issaquah.
• Enter the parking lot from 10th Ave NW, across the street from Costco and look for staff in yellow vests to greet you.
• Show your ticket QR Code to the attendant.
• You will be directed to a loading station.
• Our volunteers will scan your ticket and load your trees and accessories into your vehicle.
• After your trees are loaded, you can park your car, grab arborist chips, explore outreach booths, and ask city staff any questions you have about your trees.

Waitlist

If you reserved a tree and signed up for the waitlist, you will have the chance to take home unclaimed trees after the giveaway on Saturday. For those who got reserved trees, the waitlist pickup time is 1:30 PM.

For those who did not reserve trees in advance, the waitlist pickup time is 1:15 PM. You should have received a QR code ticket by e-mail with an appointment time of 1:15 PM.

Please don’t arrive early for the waitlist, as there may not be room for you to park and we won’t allow people to queue up before then.
